Earn Up to 40 CME Credits
You already know there are just-in-time precepting resources on TeachingPhysician, but don’t forget that you can also earn CME credit by using the website. Once you have finished reading, watching, or listening to materials on the website, including the tips, tools, and supplementary materials, complete a brief evaluation of the content and report CME credit to the AAFP. When a student joins the clinic, assess his or her level of skills and experience. Let your staff know what roles this student will take on and how that will affect their job responsibilities.
Twelve sections of content are eligible for CME. They are organized by topic, such as Orienting a Learner, Precepting Principles, and What to Teach. Additionally, you can listen to audio interviews, watch demonstration videos, and download additional resources to earn Prescribed credits.
