Find New Content Quickly
Last April, over 70 new pages written by 35 STFM members were added to TeachingPhysician.org. Our goal was to provide information directly related to your selections in the new Community Faculty Self-Assessment tool. The tool can be used by anyone for either self-directed learning or as part of the ABFM Precepting Performance Improvement Program, through which you may be able to get continuing improvement credit (MOC IV) for improving your teaching skills.
There are several new subsections on the website. The Clinical Environment subsection covers unconscious bias, conflicts of interest, inequities in clinical and health education, and professional behavior. The Learner's Progress will show you how to develop goal-directed learning, how to integrate learners' goals, and how to help the learner engage in self-reflection. Additionally, there is an entirely new Professionalism section with pages on well-being, conflict management, and professional boundaries.
For an overview of all the new pages on the website, visit our Learning Paths page and select any of the Community Faculty Competency Paths.
